| Seven youth and two adults gathered at the church early on a Sunday morning and loaded up our 15-passenger rental van for the long voyage to Texas. After a brief commissioning in the early worship service, we were on our way to the Lone Star State. |
| We stopped for a quick lunch in Arkansas, then made our way to Garland, Texas for dinner at the home of Rob and Nancy Jack (Sarah Boyd's parents). We hit the road rested and full, and after a stop at the grocery store we arrived at University Christian Church in Austin just in time to unload and hit the hay. |
