| Our
week of helping others and having fun had come to an end, but we
had one more stop on our long trip home. We headed north to Fort
Worth, home of the largest Disciples-related college in the world:
Texas Christian University. We got to tour the beautiful campus
that serves as a home for the Horned Frogs, then chatted about
the school with an admissions counselor and looked around in the
university bookstore. The TCU experience wouldn't be complete
without some good grub at a student hangout, so we filled our bellies
with gourmet Tex Mex at Fuzzy's Taco Shop across the street. It
was a nice way to end our long, strange, sunburned trip that concluded
with the drive home. |
