| Thursday was our final day working with Habitat and it really showed. Not because we were tired, but because we were really using the skills we had picked up during the last two days. Our tasks included putting up the frames for what would eventually be walls, cutting and attaching vinyl siding, weather stripping windows, and we even got to check out what a finished house looks like. When we looked at how far we had come during three days, it was quite amazing what God can do using a ragtag band of misfits like us. |

| After our standard showers, we finally headed out for some Lowcountry seafood at the Charleston Crab House. Not only did we have some fantastic local cuisine, we were able to watch a school of dolphins swimming in the Charleston River. After dinner we drove out to The Washout, a beautiful section of Folly Beach where a hurricane literally washed out the buildings and trees that had once been there. As if sunset by the ocean wasn't enough of an ending for the day, we went to a nearby arthouse theater to check out the documentary "Super Size Me." The viewing was not only entertaining, but made for good discussion during our devotional time before bed. |
